Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico in the late '70s, Juan Torres was destined to be an artist, he dove headfirst into the world of artistic expression and never looked back. His professional journey began in 1995, as he honed his craft of tattooing at bustling shops in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In 1997, professional advancement nudged him northward to New York. For three years, he tattooed his way through the scenic landscapes of upstate New York, each design telling stories etched into skin. By 2001, the Sunshine State lured Juan to central Florida, where his career hit a new peak in 2006 when he opened his own shop in Longwood, FL, a sanctuary for ink lovers and dreamers.
For nearly a decade, Juan's shop was a buzzing hive of creativity until he decided to close its doors in 2014 to explore uncharted territories of his artistry. After much professional exploration and expanding his ever-widening array of artistic outlets, Juan has partnered with another artist to create a new space for artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to come together and create, inspire, and encourage each other.
